“Creativity is just connecting things. When you ask creative people how they did something, they feel a little guilty because they didn’t really do it, they just saw something.” Steve Jobs
We’re a little unusual. Each of us moves through seemingly disparate worlds. We blend things that don’t appear to go together. We don’t fit into single boxes. Our parents were very brave (or very crazy) people who gave us both chemistry sets and crayons, and still expected the house to be standing when they got home.
We believe that poets benefit from understanding physics and that they can learn it. We believe that engineering can be an art form and that every artist must master craftsmanship first.
Our ability to blend logical and intuitive mindsets lets us bridge different disciplines – operations, finance, project management, marketing, storytelling, and technology. As a result, Making Change can see below the surface of an issue to the real causes. We get to the heart of the matter – with both analytical rigor and emotional impact.
That is a potent mix. We find the story that is driving a change. We can write it, story board it, film it, tell it. We do it because narrative matters. Change doesn’t just come because there is a good reason for it. Change happens because we are propelled into it emotionally, mentally, and physically.
We know that when you change the story, you can change the world.
